Mountin’ Hopes operates exclusively on individual and corporate donations, grants, fundraising events and rider fees. Mountin’ Hopes is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization. Your contribution is tax-deductable.

How do I make a Donation?
You can make a donation online by clicking on one of the ‘Donate’ buttons below. Donations are really simple through PayPal. If you don’t have a PayPal account simply click on the ‘Donate’ button and then select the ‘continue’ button next to the credit card logos to use your credit card. A receipt for your tax records will be sent to your email address.
NOTE: Please print your receipt through PayPal when you make a donation. Mountin’ Hopes will not send you a separate tax receipt.
You can select where your contributions will be going by clicking on the ‘Donate’ button under a specific area. We would love for you to select the general budget because then we can use that for the areas of our greatest need.

Memory and Honor Donations
If you would like to make a donation”In Honor Of” or “In Memory Of’” please make the donation through Paypal below and then send an email to Mountin’ Hopes with the contact information so that an acknowledgement letter will be mailed out.
General Fund
The funds to cover the operating costs of Mountin’ Hopes 
come from people like you who show interest in our work. We depend largely on regular contributors, many of whom also give their time. Our annual budget is used to lease our therapy horses, insurance for riders and for payroll for our instructors. These donations will also help fund the purchase or our new facility.
Rider Scholarships
You will make a difference in someone’s life when you donate
to a Scholarship fund. In order to keep fees affordable for our riders and their families, Mountin’ Hopes has a scholarship fund which accounts for about 30% of our annual budget. Donors help make Mountin’ Hopes liberal scholarship program possible. Many of our riders apply for scholarship assistance and your gift will translate into class time for an individual. A donation of $360 will fund a rider for an 8 week semester of therapeutic horseback riding.

General Horse Care
Mountin’ Hope used to have many horses that enjoyed the 
beautiful pastures of our farm in Mars Hill. Now that we are in the process of relocating we are leasing our horses. You need many different sizes of therapeutic horses to meet the needs of riders of all ages, including adults. The horses also have to have the rock steady personality and training to be able to carry riders with many different types of personalities. Mountin’ Hopes still owns one horse that is boarded in Mars Hill.
